Here’s a small review of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka Season 2

Colors’ show Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka starring Aditi Sharma, Shakti Arora, Drashti Dhami, Kinshuk Mahajan and Abhinav Shukla in lead roles aired its last episode yesterday, on 4th March. The show dealt with infidelity and complicated love stories and was criticized for showing such content too. Nonetheless, the show was a hit and viewers loved the complex story-line.

Well, the second season of the show featuring Tejasswi Prakash, Aneri Vajani, Kunal Jaisingh and Rohan Gandotra is already on air, and here’s a small review:

What is the story about:

In the last episode of the season 1, Mauli (Aditi) chooses Ishaan (Kinshuk) over Kunal (Shakti) and everyone is happy about it. It seemed like a perfect happy-ending until the second season’s first episode, wherein you get to know that Kunal, Mauli, Ishaan and Dadi are all dead. Yes, you read that right! The girls Pari (Aneri) and Mishti (Tejasswi) are all grown up to become these beautiful girls.

In the first episode, Mishti, who is exactly like her mother Mauli, is about to get engaged to Veer (Rohan Gandotra). Pari is shown to be a happy, bubbly girl who is a commitment phobic. Pari and Mishti have a childhood friend, Arnav who happens to like Pari but she has friend-zoned him. Then enters Ruhaan (Kunal), a photographer who is Veer’s friend. As soon as Veer sees Mishti, he is smitten by her beauty.

Seems like this season we will witness more complex relationships and love stories.

What we liked:

Totally love the cast of this season. All of them have a very young vibe. The show is all about complexities of relationships and how the dynamics change because of feelings that humans can’t control, and we loved that how makers didn’t waste any time in just building the ground, but they introduced the characters smartly while also carry forwarding the storyline.

All the actors look fine in their given characters.

What we didn’t like:

The storyline doesn’t seem very different or fresh. Though we love how they have planned for not just a love triangle but this time there will be more than that.

Verdict:

Mauli, Kunal, Nandini and Ishaan’s complex love story was difficult for people to digest yet people loved the character treatment and how it ended. We’re looking forward to see what happens in Pari and Mishti’s life and what fate has been planned for them.

Ratings:
