Stopped going to gym for my role in Maike: Namish Taneja

Namish Taneja is all set for his next on Sony Entertainment Television, Main Maayke Chali Jaaungi. Namish plays a boy-next-door named Samar who is a businessman. To perfect his Indian married man look, Namish has stopped going to the gym and gained a bit of weight.
Namish has done extensive research and homework for his role. He says, ‘I used to like adventures shows and movies, but since Samar is a family boy, I started watching family-oriented movies like Hum Saath Saath Hain and Hum Aapke Hain Koun.
Talking about his character, Namish adds, ‘Samar is a positive and intelligent family man. He is a loving guy who believes in spreading joy and does not take hasty decisions.’
Main Maike Chali Jaungi also stars Srishti Jain and Neelu Waghela in important roles and is slated to go on air from 11 September.
